Thank you for the outstanding reviews!

The movie stars might be the ones getting most of the attention, but they wouldn’t be where they are without a loyal fan base. The Austin Moviehouse & Eatery wanted to take some time and say a big thank you to those that have written 5-star reviews and helpful feedback. We appreciate our fans, and we love that you’re sharing your good experiences and getting the word out. After all, the quickest way to make the movies better is by listening to what YOU have to say.

“I am writing this review after my third trip to the Galaxy Moviehouse and Eatery. All of my movie going experiences here have been in the reserved dine-in theaters. I can honestly say that I am thrilled with this new movie going experience. I normally attend the Alamo for movies and have attended iPIC in the past. This theater is far SUPERIOR. The prices are outstanding for the experience that you are receiving. The reclining seats are so comfortable that you have to be careful not to fall asleep! The visual experience of the amazing digital screens is unmatched by anything that I have seen. The staff is very friendly and the food is very good. They have the option of an excellent gluten free pizza crust also, which is a nice option for people who need to eat gluten-free. I know that they had some kinks to work out in the beginning, like most new businesses do. But, I believe that they have come a long way and are doing a very good job. I go to the movies frequently and this is the only place that I ever want to see a movie again!” – Erin B

Hi Erin – it’s great to know when we’ve done something right. We want our customers to have amazing experiences, and we’re glad our seats and screens made yours memorable. We’re glad you appreciate the gluten free options. It’s important to us that everyone have the opportunity to enjoy our dining options, and we hope our gluten free options provide just that. Thanks for taking the time to write us a 5-star review. We can’t wait to have you back!

“Took the family to see Life of Pi, making our first visit to this new venue. It was obvious that the staff was proud of where they worked, and make a point of talking to all customers. Yes the place is new, but it is just a class act that shines through independent of the glossy newness. Worth mentioning is this theater is a hybrid. It has conventional, well appointed theaters as well as luxurious recliner equipped dine-in-theater choices. This gives Four Corner [Four Points] residents both choices without trekking into town. Choose the dine-in. Seriously. The menu is the best of any restaurant in the Four Corners area. We had four different meals, fully enjoyed by all. They had a full bar, available independently for pre and post viewing meet-ups (reserved seating keeps you from having to stand in line.) The seating is overstuffed, motorized, Lazy-Boy type recliners with swing away table tops for your food. Call the waiter via a silent button on the armrest. The only opportunity to improve would be to make 3D available in the dine-in theater choices. We really wanted to see Life of Pi in 3D, but that wasn’t available in the dine-in choices. We were informed that they aren’t equipped for 3D. Obviously a classy operation without the snobbery of the iPic at the Domain, better food, and almost half the price. Two thumbs up from all in our party!” – Mark L.

Hey Mark – we’re thrilled you had a great experience at the Moviehouse & Eatery, and we love that your entire party was pleased with their meals. Thanks for your constructive feedback on the 3D options. We’re always striving to make the movies better as a whole, and we’re working towards a future solution. Thanks for the five star review, and we hope to see you again soon!
