War for the Planet of the Apes

War for the Planet of the Apes begins when Caesar and his apes are forced into a deadly confrontation with an army of humans. The apes suffer unimaginable losses against the humans and their savage leader the Colone, who has teamed up with the traitorous gorilla Redl. Caesar beings to wrestle with his instincts as he begins the quest to avenging his kind. As the quest progresses, Caesar and the Colonel are pitted face to face in an epic battle that will determine the fate of both their species and the planet.

Andy Serkis reprises his role as Caesar in the third installment of the Planet of the Apes reboot series. Two-time Oscar nominee Woody Harrelson channels a ruthless antagonist as the Colonel, alongside Canadian actor Ty Olsson as the traitor Red. Karin Konoval, Terry Notary, Michael Adamthwaite, and Judy Greer all reprise their roles as Maurice, Rocket, Luca, and Cornelia (Caesar’s wife), respectively. Steve Zahn, best known for being a comedic actor, lends his talents as a chimpanzee named Bad Ape. Every ape in the film was created digitally from motion-capture footage of the actors.
