Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales finds our favorite swashbuckling, bumbling Captain Jack Sparrow in a bit of a situation. His old nemesis Armando Salazar, along with his Spanish navy ghost crew, has escaped from the Devil’s Triangle and is hot on Jack’s trail for revenge. The only way he can save himself, and any other pirate, from certain death is to retrieve the Trident of Poseidon which would give him total control over the seas. Jack teams up with the headstrong astronomer Carina Smyth, who is also on a journey to find the Trident. The two encounter a blast from Jack’s past: Henry Turner, son of Will Turner and Elizabeth Swann, who is on a journey of his own to free his father from curse of the Flying Dutchman.

The incomparable Johnny Depp reprises his role as Captain Jack Sparrow in the fifth installment of the Pirates of the Caribbean franchise. Orlando Bloom, Keira Knightley, and Geoffrey Rush also reprise their roles as Will Turner, Elizabeth Swann, and Captain Barbossa. Oscar winner Javier Bardem joins the cast as the ghostly Captain Armando Salazar. The Giver actor Brenton Thwaites stars as Henry Turner. The Maze Runner actress Kaya Scodelario plays astronomer Carina Smyth. Norwegian directing duo Espen Sandberg and Joachim Rønning bring Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales to silver screen with a script penned by Catch Me If You Can screenwriter Jeff Nathanson.
