Live By Night

Live By Night is a tale of the dark ongoings of underground distilleries, speakeasies, gangsters, and corrupt cops. Mobster Joe Coughlin is right in the center of it. It’s 1926 in Boston, and Joe is hell-bent on living his life for the thrills. Afterall, living life to the fullest is all he can do when his profession guarantees an early demise. Ruthlessly ambitious men, illegal booze, bullets flying, and beautiful women are all he knows. Live By Night follows our good-to-be-bad protagonist up the ladder of organized crime and to some of the most beautifully dangerous places of the early Jazz age.

Oscar winner Ben Affleck broods on-screen as mobster Joe Coughlin. His father Thomas Coughlin is played by three-time Golden Globe nominee Brendan Gleeson. Joe’s partner in crime, Dion Bartolo is played by The Mindy Project’s Chris Messina. Golden Globe nominee Sienna Miller, Avatar actress Zoe Saldana, and The Neon Demon’s Elle Fanning play three of the many beautiful women Joe finds himself tangled up with. Oscar winner Chris Cooper also lends his talents as the Sheriff of Tampa.
