Annabelle: Creation

Twelve years after the death of their daughter, a dollmaker and his wife, Esther, take in a nun and several children from a closed orphanage. The girls become the target of Annabelle, the dollmaker’s possessed creation.

A prequal to the 2014 film Annabelle that was based on one of the occult exploits of Ed and Lorraine Warren, Annabelle: Creation takes us back in time to the source of the supernatural forces behind the doll’s possession. It is the fourth film in The Conjuring series. Miranda Otto of The Lord of the Rings series stars as Esther Mullins, with Anthony LaPaglia of TV’s Without A Trace as the dollmaker, Samual Mullins, and Stephanie Sigman (Miss Bala) as Sister Charlotte. Director David F. Sandburg of Lights Out brings us another chilling tale of terror.
