All Eyez On Me

All Eyez On Me, the name of his fourth studio album in 1996, is the true story of cultural icon Tupac Shakur. The film chronicles his life, rise to superstardom, and the rap legacy he left behind. In addition, All Eyez On Me covers Tupac’s imprisonment and his prolific and controversial time at Death Row Records.

Tupac Shakur is played by Demetrius J. Shipp in his first ever acting role. His mother Afeni, a political activist and member of the Black Panther Party, is played by The Walking Dead’s Danai Gurira. Kidada Jones, his fiance at the time of his death, is played by Empire actress Annie Ilonzeh. The Vampire Diaries actress Kat Graham plays a young Jada Pinkett, Tupac’s good friend from the Baltimore School of the Arts. The Notorious B.I.G. (Biggie) is played by Jamal Woodward, the same actor who portrayed him in Notorious. All Eyez On Me is directed by Benny Boom, a veteran music video director who has worked with the likes of Nicki Minaj, Snoop Dogg, and Ciara.
