The Circle

Mae Holland lands a job at The Circle, and as the world’s most powerful technology and social media company, she sees it as the opportunity of a lifetime. Mae quickly rises through the ranks and builds a relationship with the company’s founder, Eamon Bailey, who encourages her to participate in a groundbreaking experiment. The project pushes the boundaries of privacy, ethics, and personal freedom; soon every decision she makes starts to affect the lives and futures of her friends, family, and the rest of mankind.

The Spectacular Now director James Ponsoldt brings The Circle to life on the silver screen. Beauty and the Beast actress Emma Watson stars as Mae Holland, a new employee full of drive and ambition. Two-time Oscar winner Tom Hanks plays Eamon Bailey, the founder of The Circle. The film also features Guardians of the Galaxy actress Karen Gillian and Trainwreck actress Claudia O’Doherty. Four-time Golden Globe winner Bill Paxton plays Mae’s father in his final role, reuniting with Tom Hanks for the first time since Apollo 13 in 1995.
