Wonder Woman

Before she was Wonder Woman, she was just Diana. And by “just Diana,” we mean an Amazonian warrior princess living on the island of Themyscira with her mother Queen Hippolyta and aunt General Antiope. When military pilot Steve Trevor crash lands on the shore of Themyscira, Diana learns of the tragedies of World War I and vows to bring an end to the war. Diana leaves everything behind and accompanies Steve back to London where she discovers her true destiny and the extent of her powers.

Wonder Woman is played by Fast & Furious actress Gal Gadot, opposite Star Trek actor Chris Pine as the military pilot Steve Trevor. Gladiator actress Connie Nielsen lends her talents as Queen Hippolyta while Golden Globe winner Robin Wright demands the screen as General Antiope. Harry Potter actor David Thewlis plays Sir Patrick, who is really Ares the god of war seeking to destroy humanity. The cast also includes American Horror Story actor Danny Huston, Trainspotting’s Ewen Bremner, and The Skin I Live In actress Elena Anaya. American director Patty Jenkins brings the brave and beloved Wonder Woman to the big screen starting June 2nd.
