Monster Trucks

Tripp Coley is a high school senior looking for a way to escape the small town he has lived in for his entire life. Tripp works for Mr. Weathers at a local body shop, which allows him to gather spare parts and scraps and build himself a monster truck. An accident at a nearby oil-drilling site presents him with a strange new friend, a subterranean creature with a taste for speed named Creech. Together, Tripp and Creech form an unlikely bond and help each other in ways they could’ve have foreseen.

X-Men: First Class actor Lucas Till stars as Tripp Coley, alongside Evil Dead actress Jane Levy as his love interest Meredith. The film’s main antagonist is played by Parks and Recreation actor Rob Lowe, alongside Jack Reacher: Never Go Back actor Holt McCallany as his employee Burke. Tripp’s mother is played by The Office’s Amy Ryan while her live-in boyfriend Sheriff Rick is played by The Lone Ranger actor Barry Pepper. Comedic actor Thomas Lennon, best known for his roles in I Love You, Man and 17 Again plays scientist Jim Dowd, who helps Tripp and his slippery pal. The one and only Danny Glover also lends his talents to the screen as Mr. Weathers, Tripp’s boss.
